Connecticut to Require Paper Record of Vote

From the AP:

Electronic voting machines in Connecticut will have to create a paper trail backup under legislation that passed in the state House Thursday by 147-0.

Well now we have just 49 states to go. Once all 50 states have paper backup of voting then we can start counting the votes and then we might start to look something like a democracy again. Just as the IRS randomly audits, we can have random audits of a percentage of counties. In this way, the election can proceed forward with polling and Faux News declaring the winner and at the same time verify that the voting process is accurate.
